The G-BAT is one of the historic engines of the GENIUS, renewed and improved over the years. In this kit, the manufacturer, owned by the FAAC group, offers for sale a complete automation system for leaf gates for use in residential and therefore small or semi-detached houses.

The motors in the kit are irreversible, so in case of power failure they must be manually unlocked using the keys supplied with them.

In case of movement of leaves greater than 2.5 meters or leaves with blank panels, it is strongly recommended to use an electric lock to ensure the closing of the leaf but also the tightness in case of wind.

The speed of the rod allows the gate to be opened completely in a time varying between 19 and 25 seconds, in fact it depends on the overall weight of the leaf, the friction and the programming that is done by the control unit.

Inside the kit there are only one pair of photocells. We therefore advise you to add another one for the safety of vehicles but also of people and animals passing near the gate.
