UGATE Is Back in Operation: What Happens Now with the August Orders?
UGATE Is Back in Operation: What Happens to Orders After the Summer Break
From today, August 24, UGATE is fully operational again.
We have reopened our offices and warehouse and have immediately started reviewing the orders and requests received during the closure. Email and WhatsApp support are once again available, while telephone support will resume from August 31.
Resuming our operations is the first step, but it does not automatically mean that every order can be shipped immediately. In this article we explain what we will be doing over the coming days and which factors will determine when orders are dispatched.
Where We Begin
Orders placed during the closure were regularly received and recorded by our website. Starting today, we will process them, as far as possible, in chronological order.
For each order we will verify:
-
the actual availability of the products in the UGATE warehouse;
-
whether the order can be shipped immediately;
-
which items need to be ordered from suppliers or manufacturers;
-
any compatibility issues, product changes or other matters that need to be communicated;
-
the payment status and all information required for delivery.
Orders consisting entirely of products available in stock will progressively move into preparation. If one or more items are not available, we will need to wait for the relevant suppliers and manufacturers to resume operations and confirm availability.
Why Not Every Order Can Be Shipped on August 24
Although UGATE has reopened, many manufacturers and suppliers will remain closed or only partially operational until August 28.
During this first week we will therefore be able to:
-
review all accumulated orders;
-
ship products that are genuinely available in stock;
-
respond to customers via email and WhatsApp;
-
identify the items that need to be sourced;
-
prepare purchase requests to be sent as soon as the supply chain fully reopens.
However, we will not be able to obtain immediate confirmation from companies that are still closed, nor can we anticipate the availability of products that still need to be manufactured or delivered.
From August 31 the Supply Chain Starts Moving Again
From August 31, most suppliers and manufacturers will begin reopening. At the same time, they will also receive a large number of orders and requests accumulated during the holiday period.
The main expected challenges are:
-
commercial and logistics backlogs;
-
staff not yet fully back at work;
-
reduced stock levels after August;
-
incoming materials still awaiting delivery;
-
components and raw materials still requiring processing;
-
production lines that need to be restarted;
-
carriers handling the simultaneous restart of shipments.
For this reason, a supplier reopening does not mean that your order will be shipped on the same day. They must first receive the order, review it, verify stock availability, manufacture or source the necessary products if required, and only then hand the shipment over to the carrier.
From Today We Go Back to Chasing Every Supply Opportunity
From the moment we return, we will do everything that is realistically within our control.
We will review every order, contact suppliers, verify stock availability and actively follow up on every outstanding supply. We will stay in close contact with manufacturers, distributors and logistics partners in order to receive materials as quickly as realistically possible.
Being persistent and proactive can help us obtain information sooner, identify available stock and reduce avoidable delays. However, it cannot create out-of-stock products, replace unavailable raw materials or eliminate the technical time required for production.
Our commitment will therefore be absolute, while continuing to provide only realistic information and confirmed delivery estimates.
When Shipments Will Return to Normal
The return to normal operations will be gradual. There is no single date that applies to every product or every manufacturer.
| Period | Expected Situation |
|---|---|
| August 24–28 | UGATE fully operational; shipment of available stock and review of accumulated orders |
| From August 31 | Most suppliers and manufacturers reopen; purchase orders are sent throughout the supply chain |
| September 1–15 | Progressive arrival of replenishment stock, production resumes and backlogs begin to be cleared |
| After September 15 | Expected return to a more regular supply situation, except for special products or specific supply issues |
For custom-made products, less common spare parts or temporarily unavailable items, lead times may extend beyond the middle of September.
How We Will Manage Communications
From August 24, the following communication channels are fully operational again:
-
Email;
-
WhatsApp;
-
The contact form on our website.
Telephone support will resume from August 31. During this first week, we want to dedicate as much time as possible to reviewing orders and responding to written enquiries, which allow us to reconstruct each request accurately and provide precise updates.
Messages will be handled in the order they are received. To help us respond more quickly, please:
-
always include your order reference number;
-
whenever possible, use the same communication channel as your original enquiry;
-
avoid sending the same message multiple times;
-
do not submit the same request simultaneously by email, WhatsApp and the contact form.
Sending repeated follow-up messages does not change product availability and simply increases the number of communications we need to process, slowing down responses for everyone.
After-Sales Support Is Also Gradually Resuming
Over the coming days we will be handling orders, stock availability, shipments and after-sales support at the same time. After-sales requests will be processed, but response times may be longer than usual.
Technical assessments may also depend on:
-
the manufacturer's response;
-
the availability of the relevant technical support department;
-
receiving any missing photographs, videos or technical information;
-
the return of the product, where necessary;
-
the availability of a replacement spare part.
For this reason, we kindly ask you to include your order reference and all relevant information in your very first message. A complete request requires fewer follow-up exchanges and can be handled more quickly.
The Free Gift for Orders Over €200 Continues Until the End of August
Until August 31, while dedicated stocks last, every order containing at least €200 worth of products (excluding shipping costs) will receive a free pocket AC/DC and non-contact voltage tester with LCD display.
This is not a discount: the value of the products remains unchanged. Instead, we want to reward customers who use August to plan a more complete purchase.
We Are Working to Turn Orders Into Shipments
We know that behind every order there may be a gate that is out of service, a scheduled installation or a customer waiting for a repair. That is precisely why we prefer to describe the situation transparently rather than provide dates that we cannot yet guarantee.
From today, UGATE is back at work. Every day we will review orders, contact suppliers and actively follow up on every outstanding supply in order to reduce waiting times as much as realistically possible. As soon as we have concrete information regarding your order, we will keep you updated.
To contact us, please email info@ugateshop.it or use WhatsApp, always including your order reference number.
