The GIBIDI GBD-12565 is the power supply designed to charge BATTERY BIDI Ø45 mm battery-operated tubular motors.
The power supply provides 12 V / 1 A and uses a 3.5 mm Jack connector, corresponding to the connection system provided on BATTERY BIDI Ø45 mm motors.
Compatible with BATTERY BIDI 20 and 50 Nm motors
The GBD-12565 is intended for the Ø45 mm motors in the range:
GBD-EWSETND4520BB – BATTERY BIDI 20/10 – 20 Nm – Ø45 mm
GBD-EWSETND4550BB – BATTERY BIDI 50/10 – 50 Nm – Ø45 mm
The GIBIDI brochure associates Ref. 12565 with motors in the 20–50 Nm range.
3.5 mm Jack connector
Unlike BATTERY BIDI Ø25 and Ø35 motors, which use a USB Type-C connection, the Ø45 mm models use a 3.5 mm female Jack socket for connecting the charging power supply.
It is therefore important to use the correct accessory according to the installed motor:
Ø25 / Ø35 → USB Type-C → GBD-12564
Ø45 → 3.5 mm Jack → GBD-12565
Charging the integrated battery
BATTERY BIDI motors operate using the integrated battery and do not require a permanent direct power supply during normal use.
When the battery needs to be recharged, the GBD-12565 allows the motor to be connected to the power supply via the dedicated Jack socket.
The system therefore maintains the main advantage of battery-powered motorisation: automating roller shutters and awnings without necessarily having to install a permanent electrical line to the motor.

The 12 V, 1 A and 3.5 mm Jack data are reported by GIBIDI in the BATTERY BIDI brochure.
Which power supply to choose
The GBD-12565 must be used for Ø45 mm BATTERY BIDI motors rated at 20 and 50 Nm.
For the smaller Ø25 and Ø35 mm motors, the GBD-12564 charger with USB Type-C connection is required.
This distinction is particularly important when the power supply is purchased separately as a spare part or accessory for an already installed BATTERY BIDI system.
