What happens when you place an order
Payment and automatic order confirmation do not mean that your parcel is already prepared for shipment. During August, each order will go through different stages depending on when it is received and on product availability.
1. Your order is recorded
The website will continue to accept orders 24 hours a day, including during the complete closure. You will therefore receive the usual automatic confirmation.
2. UGATE checks availability and order contents
Orders received between 10 and 22 August will begin to be checked from 24 August, in chronological order.
We will check:
-
which products are available in our warehouse;
-
whether the complete order can be shipped;
-
whether one or more items need to be ordered from a supplier;
-
whether there are any issues or specific lead times that need to be communicated.
3. Available products are prepared
From 24 August, we will resume the preparation and shipment of orders consisting of products available in the UGATE warehouse.
Reopening does not guarantee that all orders will be shipped on the first day: we will need to process the accumulated requests, following chronological order wherever possible.
4. Missing products are requested from the supply chain
We expect manufacturers and suppliers to remain largely closed until 28 August. Items that are not available in our warehouse will therefore depend on their actual reopening date, stock availability and any production lead times.
From 31 August, we will submit and follow up on all necessary requests, but manufacturers and distributors will simultaneously need to handle orders accumulated from many customers.
5. Your order is shipped when all products are available
As soon as all items are available and ready, we will hand the parcel over to the courier and you will receive a shipping confirmation with the relevant tracking details.
Reopening does not mean that everything can be shipped immediately
UGATE will reopen on 24 August, while most of the supply chain will only begin to resume operations from 31 August.
Even after reopening, suppliers and manufacturers may face:
-
a large backlog of orders;
-
reduced staffing levels;
-
insufficient stock;
-
goods awaiting receipt;
-
raw materials or components awaiting processing;
-
congested transport services.
Normal operations will not resume in a single day. Based on our experience, the system will gradually return to normal during the first few weeks of September, approximately around 15 September or possibly later for more complex products.
Technical and after-sales support
Customer support will also be affected by delays. From 24 August, email and WhatsApp support will reopen, but we will simultaneously need to manage:
-
orders received during the closure;
-
product availability enquiries;
-
delivery updates;
-
after-sales and technical support cases;
-
follow-ups with suppliers and manufacturers.
Telephone support will therefore remain closed until 28 August and will reopen on 31 August. This will allow us to dedicate the first week after reopening to carrying out practical order checks and providing written replies, which can be managed and tracked more accurately.
Requests will be processed in the order in which they are received. Sending the same message multiple times through different channels will not speed up the process and may instead increase overall response times.
After reopening, we will follow up on every order with determination
We cannot create an unavailable electronic control board, shorten a production cycle or make a supplier reopen while it is still closed. However, we can do everything that is within our control.
From 24 August, we will check all accumulated orders. Once the supply chain reopens, we will follow up on every purchase order with maximum determination: we will contact suppliers and manufacturers, verify availability and send reminders to obtain the products within the shortest genuinely possible time.
We prefer to be transparent: we will make every effort, but we will not provide unconfirmed dates merely to offer temporary reassurance.
A free gift for orders over €200
During August, we will not apply general discounts. We want to preserve the value of our products and reward customers who plan a more comprehensive purchase without reducing the quality of our service.
For orders containing at least €200 worth of products, excluding shipping costs, we will include a pocket-sized AC/DC and non-contact voltage tester with an LCD display free of charge in the parcel.
The free gift:
-
will be added when the required order value is reached;
-
does not count towards the minimum order value;
-
is available while stocks allocated to this promotion last;
-
cannot be exchanged for cash or replaced with a discount.
Any VAT applicable to the order will be managed automatically by the website according to the customer’s country and type.
If your order is urgent, contact us before purchasing
If the product must be shipped by a specific date, please do not rely on the standard delivery times applicable during the rest of the year.
Before the closure, you can email us at info@ugateshop.it, specifying:
-
the product code or link;
-
the required quantity;
-
the destination country;
-
the date by which you need the products.
During the complete closure, we will be unable to carry out any checks. Requests received during this period will be reviewed from 24 August in the order in which they were received.

The free gift is not a discount. The eligibility of any other promotions will depend on the relevant terms and conditions stated on the website.
Order with full awareness, and we will do our part
Our online shop will remain open because many professionals use August to plan work for the following weeks. However, we ask you to place your order while taking the operating schedule and the supply chain’s actual lead times into account.
Once we reopen, we will do everything possible to turn every order into a shipment within the shortest realistically achievable time, while providing transparent information throughout every stage.
