2-metre GIBIDI roller shutter box extension cable for BATTERY BIDI system

The GIBIDI GBD-12562 is a 2-metre extension cable for roller shutter boxes, designed as an accessory for the battery-powered motorisation system GIBIDI BATTERY BIDI.

The extension is particularly useful in installations where the tubular motor is located inside the winding tube and its connection point is difficult to reach once installation has been completed.

2-metre extension for the roller shutter box

The cable is 2 metres long and allows the system connection point to be extended, making it easier to access from outside the roller shutter box.

This makes it possible to prepare the installation so that power supply and charging operations are more convenient, without having to work directly on the tubular motor installed inside the winding system.

Useful for BATTERY BIDI installations

In BATTERY BIDI tubular motors, the motor body is inserted inside the tube around which the awning or roller shutter rolls up.

Once installation is complete, especially in the case of roller shutters, the motor is therefore located inside the roller shutter box.

The GBD-12562 allows a more easily accessible connection to be prepared, preventing the connection point from remaining in an inconvenient position inside the box.

Accessory for improved system preparation

The GBD-12562 roller shutter box extension cable is particularly recommended when the motor’s final position makes it difficult to reach its connection directly.

The extension can therefore be planned during installation of the BATTERY BIDI motor, bringing the connection point to a more convenient position for subsequent operations.

A precaution: Type-C, 3.5 mm Jack or compatibility with a specific motor should not be specified in the product sheet until we have inspected the OEM connection of the 12562. The brochure only confirms that it is the “L=2m roller shutter box extension cable”. Everything else must be verified before being presented as a technical feature.
