The GIBIDI GBD-12564 is the dedicated charger for BATTERY BIDI Ø25 and Ø35 mm battery-powered tubular motors.
It enables the battery built into the motor to be recharged, preserving one of the main advantages of the BATTERY BIDI system: automation operation without the need for a permanent direct electrical connection to the motor.
Charger for GIBIDI BATTERY BIDI Ø25 and Ø35 motors
The GBD-12564 charger is intended for the smaller-diameter motor range of the BATTERY BIDI system.
It is compatible with:
GBD-EWSETND251 – BATTERY BIDI 1,1/28 – Ø25 mm – 1,1 Nm
GBD-EWSETND356 – BATTERY BIDI 6/24 – Ø35 mm – 6 Nm
The GIBIDI brochure associates Ref. 12564 with the motor range up to 6 Nm.
USB Type-C connection
BATTERY BIDI Ø25 and Ø35 mm motors use a USB Type-C connector for charging.
The charger is connected to the motor's dedicated socket when the battery needs to be recharged.
This version must be distinguished from the system used on Ø45 mm BATTERY BIDI motors: the latter have a 3.5 mm Jack connection and use the dedicated GIBIDI power supply Ref. 12565.
Recharge without dismantling the motor
The charging system restores the energy of the built-in battery without having to replace the battery or remove the motor from the roller tube.
This makes BATTERY BIDI installations particularly practical on roller blinds and screens where no permanent electrical line is available.
GIBIDI states that the BATTERY BIDI range offers automatic operation for up to 18 months, with the possibility of recharging the battery using a power supply and using a solar panel to maintain the charge.

Pay attention when choosing the charger
The GBD-12564 must not be confused with the GBD-12565 used for BATTERY BIDI Ø45 mm motors.
The distinction is simple:
Ø25 / Ø35 → USB Type-C → GBD-12564
Ø45 → 3.5 mm Jack → GBD-12565
This information should also be highlighted prominently on the PrestaShop product page, perhaps by directly associating GBD-12564 as an accessory with the two 1,1 Nm and 6 Nm motors. This would significantly reduce the risk of the customer ordering the wrong charger.
