The PROTECO ANT02 is a radio antenna for outdoor installation, designed for automation systems operating at 433.92 MHz.
Installing an outdoor antenna makes it possible to position the radio-signal reception point in a more favourable area than the position of the electronic control unit or receiver. It is therefore particularly useful in systems where remote-control reception is difficult due to the position of the control unit, the presence of walls, metal structures or other obstacles.
The ANT02 antenna is supplied with a bracket for outdoor mounting and includes 5 metres of RG58 coaxial cable, allowing good flexibility when positioning the antenna relative to the control unit or receiver.

- Connection: to the compatible control unit or radio receiver
Use
The PROTECO ANT02 can be used to improve the range and reception quality of 433.92 MHz remote-control signals, allowing the antenna to be positioned more favourably than the integrated antenna or receiver position.
The connection must be made according to the instructions in the manual for the control unit or radio receiver on which the antenna is installed.
Installation
The bracket allows the antenna to be fixed to an outdoor surface. After mounting the bracket, the rod is screwed onto the base and the antenna is secured using the specified M6 nut.
For outdoor installations, it is recommended to leave a drip loop in the cable, to facilitate water drainage and prevent water from being channelled along the cable towards the system.
Package contents
The package includes the components required to mount the antenna, including:
- antenna base with 5-metre RG58 coaxial cable
- antenna rod
- bracket/plate for mounting
- flanged M6 nut
- rubber protective cap
The PROTECO ANT02 is therefore a simple solution for installing a dedicated outdoor antenna for remote-control reception in 433.92 MHz automation systems, particularly suitable when improved reception is desired compared with the original position of the control unit.
