GIBIDI 1.1 Nm Ø25 mm battery tubular motor for roller blinds

The GIBIDI BATTERY BIDI GBD-EWSETND251 is a compact battery tubular motor for the automation of roller blinds and lightweight roller systems, particularly suitable when motorising a sun screen without installing a direct electrical connection to the motor.

The model is identified by the 1.1/28 configuration: it develops a rated torque of 1.1 Nm and reaches a speed of 28 revolutions per minute. The motor body diameter of just 25 mm enables installation inside compact roller tubes.

Battery motorisation without a direct electrical connection

One of the main features of the GIBIDI BATTERY BIDI series is the battery built into the motor. It is therefore not necessary to run a permanent electrical power supply directly to the blind.

According to the information provided by GIBIDI for this range, the battery enables automatic operation for up to 18 months and can subsequently be recharged using a charger. It is also possible to use a solar panel to maintain the charge.

The GBD-EWSETND251 has a diameter of just 25 mm and an overall length specified by GIBIDI of 478 mm.

The compact dimensions allow the motor to be integrated directly inside the roller tube. The motor therefore remains substantially concealed once installation is complete.

GIBIDI specifies a maximum weight of 3 kg for this model. This value must be considered in relation to the actual configuration of the blind, the roller tube and the mechanical characteristics of the application.

Radio receiver, bidirectional operation and electronic limit switch

The motor integrates a radio receiver and features bidirectional communication and an electronic limit switch.

The bidirectional technology allows the motor to integrate into the GIBIDI BATTERY BIDI radio control system and to be used with the compatible devices provided in the range. The GIBIDI brochure lists, among others, the BRICK, WALL, SEAN and WSEAN controls and the KUMO WiFi system.

Mounting bracket included and adapters to be selected

The motor is supplied complete with mounting bracket.

The adapters are not universal and must be selected according to the tube and the type of application in which the motor will be installed. For this reason, the adapters must be requested separately, specifying the type of application/roller tube used.

This aspect is particularly important when replacing or motorising existing blinds: before ordering, it is advisable to check the type and dimensions of the tube into which the motor will be inserted.
