TO4024 NICE – 24V electromechanical operator for heavy-duty swing gates up to 3 m

The NICE's TO4024 is a 24V electromechanical operator designed to automate swing gates with leaves up to 3 meters, suitable for systems with intensive use such as condominium contexts, company accesses or installations where a high frequency of maneuvering is required.

This model belongs to the TOONA series, one of the most reliable and high-performance lines developed by NICE. Thanks to its robust mechanical design and low-voltage motor, the operator guarantees smooth movements, high silence and long life, characteristics that are particularly important in shared residential systems.

The motor is an irreversible type, so it keeps the gate locked in place without the need for additional electric locks. In the event of an emergency or power failure, manual movement of the leaves is still possible via a dedicated release key.

The TOONA 4024 is intended for use with the MC824H NICE control panel, which is designed specifically for this series of operators. This control unit has an encoder input, which is essential for precise control of movement and to ensure the correct operation of the automation system.

An important aspect concerns the replacement of old automations NICE.
The TOONA4024 is the natural replacement for MOBY4024 motors, which are now out of production, because it maintains the same fixing points and the same installation dimensions, simplifying the updating of existing systems.

However, some technical conditions must be considered:

• if the system is equipped with two MOBY operators, it is not possible to replace only one of them with a TOONA;

• a MOBY and a TOONA cannot work together on the same control panel, so in the event of a replacement, both motors must be changed;

• the old A824 control panels used with MOBYs are not compatible with the TOONA, so when upgrading the system it is also necessary to replace the control unit with the MC824H.

This makes the TO4024 the ideal solution for modernizing older NICE systems, while maintaining an existing installation structure.
