The OPTIGATE laser photocell is an innovative solution for automatic gates and automation systems. It uses a built-in laser rangefinder that allows operation without the need to install a receiver or carry cables on either side of the gate. This advantage makes installation faster, cheaper and more reliable, especially in contexts where cable routing is difficult or invasive.

Unlike traditional reflex sensors, OPTIGATE does not require a reflective mirror. This means that the device works even in harsh environmental conditions: dust, rain, condensation or humidity do not interfere with detection, ensuring consistent performance over time.

The 180-degree swivel head allows flexible mounting, even in tight or angled spaces. The device offers three configurable operating modes, making it suitable both as a safety photocell and for time and attendance detection or automatic opening:

• Mode A: Detection perpendicular to a fixed obstacle, with a range of up to 9 meters

• Mode B: Perpendicular Sensing with Settable Distance, Range Up to 6 Meters

• Mode C: Parallel approach detection to the beam, range up to 6 meters

Programming is done via an integrated button, with acoustic and light feedback. There's also a test mode for real-time distance reading, which is useful for precise adjustments and quick checks.
