The control unit GENIUS JA592 is equivalent to the FAAC control panels (being the same family): 455D, 452 MPS 401, 402 450 MPS

The control unit has the same functions as the FAAC ones and programming is done through dip-switches and trimmers. Diagnostics are carried out by LEDs that indicate when the safety entrances are closed.

On the control panel there is also the connector for the FAAC and GENIUS receivers, which must be purchased separately if necessary.

The board is also equipped with limit switch inputs to manage the motors that need them.

If I have a fault on the 455D in the FAAC can I buy the JA592?

Yes, the two control panels are identical, the difference lies in the programming mode. The 455D has a display while the JA592 has dip-switches and trimmers. The receiver can be detached from the old 455D and attached to the JA592. If I have remote controls FAAC can I buy the JA592 from GENIUS?

As specified above, the JA592 control panel has the connector but not the receiver on board, so you will have to move the old receiver from the faulty FAAC control panel and put it in the new JA592
