Installation and Maintenance Warnings

Before installing the new jack, it is essential to check the condition of the existing load-bearing body. Any sludge residue, oxidation, or debris must be removed thoroughly to avoid abnormal wear or malfunction.

During the replacement of the jack, it is normal for part of the hydraulic oil to be dispersed: for this reason, FAAC provides a sufficient amount of oil for the correct topping up of the circuit.

To ensure optimal system performance, it is recommended to also check the associated electrical components. In particular, on older systems, replacing the capacitor can significantly improve the starting phase of the motor. The recommended value is 8 μF (microfarad).
